Taekr Group is one of two holdings we run. The other, LumeFlux Studio, is Niels’ personal vehicle for products outside the agency space. Same operating model, different scope.

Niels Samuel Neijenhuis

Runs the technical side of Taekr: product architecture, agent building, AI systems, infrastructure. Five years deep in AI, hands-on across Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Deepseek. Studied AI at Radboud for two years, dropped out to build full-time. Also founded LumeFlux Studio, a second AI venture for products outside the agency space. Started Taekr after watching too many fixable problems stack up unaddressed. Every product begins as a real pain point, then becomes the system that replaces the manual work. Based in Arnhem, originally from Rotterdam.

Joep Degen

Runs the business side of Taekr: marketing, sales, growth, structure, customer relationships. Four years in ecommerce, five years in marketing and communications, three years working with AI. Works ideas into running operations. Scales what compounds, drops what doesn't. Based in Arnhem.

Operating model

We build, then we hire.

Most agencies grow by adding people. We grow by replacing manual work with software. Our first hire on each product is a second technical operator, not a salesperson. Sales follows distribution, distribution follows working product.

Joep handles operations across the portfolio. Niels builds. We split equity 50/50 in Taekr Group. Decisions are made in Slack and reviewed monthly.

We talk with investors, partners, and operators with ideas that fit our thesis. We don’t take pitches for unrelated ventures. If you’ve built something we’d recognize, or you operate in a space we don’t, we want to hear from you.
